How to Make Indonesian Food Cake Sweet Jongkong

Ingredients
A. -- Sweetener --
  • 250 g brown sugar, scraped smooth
  • 75 g sugar
B. -- Dough natural dyes(green) --
  • 50 g of rice flour
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 450 ml coconut milk from half coconut grated
  • 50 ml water Suji leaves / Pandan leaves that have been shredded.

C. -- White dough --
  • 50 g of rice flour
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 400 ml coconut milk from half coconut grated
  • 1 tsp fine salt

D. -- How to cook/ make --

Green dough:
  • Mix the rice flour and corn starch.
  • Pour coconut milk while stirring until blended.
  • Add water suji leaves / pandan.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. 
  • Lift. Set aside.

White dough:
  • Mix the rice flour and corn starch.
  • Pour coconut milk while stirring until blended.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. 
  • Lift. Set aside.
  • Prepare a bowl heat resistant container size of 100 ml.
  • Put 1 tsp brown sugar and 1 tsp sugar into each container. Put on it with green dough, steamed just until sugar melts. 
  • Lift.Place the dough again on it with white. 
  • Steamed until cooked. Lift.
  • Serve.
