Indonesian Delicious Lakso Food
I once wrote on the site about my recipe and how to cooking Bergo which is a traditional culinary food comes from Pangkalpinang, Bangka Island, Indonesia. Lakso is a food made from a mixture of rice flour and sago are made using special molds. Lakso shaped like a big white noodles are placed (stacked) on banana's leaf / plastic. Banana leaves or plastic is cut square or round. When we serving Lakso doused with fish soup and coconut milk cooked with yellow special seasoning. Lakso sauce marinade similar to Bergo. At the time I was in elementary school, I made Lakso help my mother. Lakso made from Indonesian rice. I still remember enough to discuss it on this site. Recipes and How to Make Indonesian Food Lakso
A. The main ingredients - Dough Lakso
- 400 gr rice flour
- 100 gr sago flour
- 1 tsp whiting
- 300 ml boiling water
- 700 ml of plain water
- a little salt.
AA. How to cooking/ making a Dough of Lakso
- Brewed part rice flour with 300 ml of boiling water. Stir well.
- Add the remaining rice flour, sago, salt, and water whiting and water.
- Stir until the dough
- Pres the maker Lakso (Lakso mold tool), you can use plastic bag.

- Steam until cooked and set aside.

B. Soup/ sauce Ingredients
Soup/souce ingredients same with Bergo.- 300 grams of fish, mackerel, boiled and finely chopped
- 500 ml coconut milk
- 3 bay leaves
- 500 ml of water
- 1/2 tablespoon coriander finely
- 5 cm Galangal
- 3 cm Kaempferia Galanga
- 1 piece turmeric, 5 cm
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 5 spring onions
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 50 gr grated coconut
BB. How to cook soup/sauce Lakso
- Fish boiled then mashed using a blender, be careful of the bones, discard.
- Combine 500 ml of water.
- Pour the spice mixture and stir well.
- Heat
- When boiling pour 500 ml of coconut milk, stirring constantly, reduce heat. Stirring constantly again.
- When you smell the aroma or boil, a small fire.
